RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF THE WATERLOO
COMMUNITY PLAYHOUSE/BLACK HAWK CHILDREN'S
THEATRE TO HOLD "SPOTLIGHT RUN: ALL SHOOK UP"
EVENT ON JUNE 11, 2011.
WHEREAS, the Waterloo Community Playhouse/Black Hawk
Children's Theater has requested to hold the "Spotlight Run: All
Shook Up" event on June 11, 2011, with race starting at 7:30 a.m.
at Mullan Avenue and Commercial Street, west to River Road, take
River Road one mile to the middle of the bridge, turn around and
run back to Mullan Avenue, continue on Commercial Street to West
2nd Street, right on West 2nd Street to Washington Street (Bluff),
and left on Washington Street to West 4th Street to Lincoln Park.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of the Waterloo Community
Playhouse/Black Hawk Children's Theater to hold the "Spotlight
Run: All Shook Up" event on June 11, 2011, with race starting at
7:30 a.m. at Mullan Avenue and Commercial Street, west to River
Road, take River Road one mile to the middle of the bridge, turn
around and run back to Mullan Avenue, continue on Commercial
Street to West 2nd Street, right on West 2nd Street to Washington
Street (Bluff), and left on Washington Street to West 4th Street
to Lincoln Park, together with the recommendation of approval by
the Director of Safety Services, be and the same is hereby
approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of April, 2011.
