RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DESIGN AND
INSTALLATION OF THE SIGN FACES TO THE 5
SULLIVAN BROTHERS CONVENTION CENTER PYLON
SIGN.
WHEREAS, Main Street Waterloo has secured a gaming grant for
various improvements to the downtown, including funds to replace
the sign faces in the 5 Sullivan Brothers Convention Center pylon
sign, and
WHEREAS, proposed sign faces will fit with the existing
design of the sign and building, and coordinates with the other
on-site signage, while paying tribute to the Sullivan brothers
with their images.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said proposed design and installation of the
sign faces to the 5 Sullivan Brothers Convention Center pylon
sign be, and the same are hereby, approved.
