RESOLUTION NO. 2016-226
RESOLUTION APPROVING A IOWA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION TRAFFIC SAFETY GRANT AGREEMENT
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF 5TH AND 6TH STREET
TRAFFIC SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS IN THE DOWNTOWN
AREA IN THE AMOUNT OF $484, 000 . 00, AND
AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
SAID AGREEMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, that the Iowa Department of Transportation Traffic Safety
Grant Agreement dated March 28, 2016, between the Iowa Department
of Transportation and the City of Waterloo, Iowa,. for the
construction of 5th and 6th Street Traffic Safety Improvements in
the downtown area in the amount of $484, 000 . 00, is hereby
approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed
to execute said agreement on behalf of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of March 2016.
