RESOLUTION NO. 2016-290
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF ABATE OF IOWA,
DISTRICT 16 TO HOLD MOTORCYCLE AWARENESS RIDE
ON MAY 21,2016.
WHEREAS, ABATE of Iowa, District 16-has requested that they be allowed to hold a
Motorcycle Awareness Ride on May 21, 2016, together with the approval of the Director of
Safety Services, and
WHEREAS, said event will begin with registration at 10:30 a.m. at the Black Hawk
County Courthouse with the ride departing at 12:00 noon and traveling throughout Black Hawk
County, and concluding at Silver Eagle Harley-Davidson.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of ABATE of Iowa, District 16 to hold a Motorcycle
Awareness Ride on May 21, 2016, with said event beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the Black Hawk
County Courthouse with the ride departing at 12:00 noon and traveling throughout Bladk Hawk
County, and concluding at Silver Eagle Harley-Davidson, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 25th day of April, 2016.
