RESOLUTION NO. 2024-368
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENTS, FORM OF
CONTRACT, ETC., AND AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED IN
CONJUNCTION WITH ASBESTOS ABATEMENT SERVICES,
CONTRACT NO. AB-2024-05-08P.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, heretofore instructed the
City Engineer of said city to prepare and file specifications, bid documents, form of contract,
etc., in conjunction with Asbestos Abatement Services, Contract No. AB-2024-05-08P, and
WHEREAS, said City Engineer did file said specifications, bid documents, form of
contract, etc., in conjunction with Asbestos Abatement Services, Contract No. AB-2024-05-08P,
and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on June 17, 2024.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it is so ordered on motion
by this Council that said specifications, bid documents, form of contract, etc., in conjunction
with Asbestos Abatement Services, Contract No. AB-2024-05-08P, are hereby approved, and
said project proceeds in accordance with said specifications.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of June 2024.
