RESOLUTION NO. 2024-383
RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF THE PUBLIC
HEARING AS JULY 15, 2024, TO APPROVE A REQUEST BY
LOLA BURT FOR THE VACATE, SALE AND CONVEYANCE
OF APPROXIMATELY 6,682 SQUARE FEET OF CITY -
OWNED RIGHT-OF-WAY LOCATED EAST OF 522 ALBANY
STREET, AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH
NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 15th day of July 2024, to
hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the request by Lola Burt for the vacate, sale and
conveyance of approximately 6,682 square feet of city -owned right-of-way located east of 522
Albany Street.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of July 2024.
