RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN EXCEPTION TO THE
CITY OF WATERLOO PURCHASING POLICY FOR THE
PURCHASE OF TWO NEW WAY SIDEWINDER
AUTOMATED SIDE LOADERS, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$758,000.00, FROM ELLIOTT EQUIPMENT, FOR THE
SANITATION DEPARTMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
That the requested exception to the City of Waterloo's Purchasing Procedures Policy to
approve the purchase of two New Way Sidewinder Automated Side Loaders, in the amount of
$758,000.00, from Elliott Equipment, for the Sanitation Department, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of July 2024.
