RESOLUTION NO. 2024-392
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., AND
AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED IN CONJUNCTION WITH
ASBESTOS ABATEMENT SERVICES CONTRACT NO. AB-
2024-06-01P, FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 123 E. PARKER
STREET, FORMER SAINT MARY'S VILLA (REBID).
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, heretofore instructed the
Community Planning and Development Director of said city to prepare and file plans,
specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with Asbestos Abatement Services Contract
No. AB-2024-06-01P, for property located at 123 E. Parker Street, former Saint Mary's Villa
(rebid), and
WHEREAS, said Community Planning and Development Director did file said plans,
specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with Asbestos Abatement Services Contract
No. AB-2024-06-01P, for property located at 123 E. Parker Street, former Saint Mary's Villa
(rebid), and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on July 1, 2024.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it is so ordered on motion
by this Council that said plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with
Asbestos Abatement Services Contract No. AB-2024-06-01P, for property located at 123 E.
Parker Street, former Saint Mary's Villa (rebid), are hereby approved and said project proceeds in
accordance with said specifications.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this lst day of July 2024.
