RESOLUTION NO. 2011-307
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON THE PROPOSED LEASE
AGREEMENT WITH MICHAEL COOK TO FARM CITY -
OWNED LAND LOCATED BETWEEN SOUTH VIEW DRIVE
AND WILLOW STREET, NORTH OF MARTIN LUTHER
KING JR. DRIVE, AS MAY 2, 2011, AT 5:30 P.M.
IN THE CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS IN CITY
HALL AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH NOTICE OF HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet
in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 2nd day of May, 2011, for the purpose of
considering and acting upon the proposed Lease Agreement with
Michael Cook, at a cost of $95.00 per acre for a total of $855.00
per year, to farm approximately 9 acres of city -owned land
generally located between South View Drive and Willow Street,
north of Martin Luther king Jr. Drive, for the period May 2, 2011
through December 31, 2014.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
