TO ALL BIDDERS ON THE ABOVE PROJECT:
All Bidders submitting a bid on the above contract shall carefully read this Addendum and give it
consideration in the preparation of their bid.
TO ALL BIDDERS ON THE ABOVE PROJECT:
At the Contractors option,the Contractor will be allowed to chip trees and brush and place the chips on
city property outside the construction area. The area of chip placement will be approved by the Engineer
prior to placement. Chips that are placed outside of the construction area must be spread out so that they
are no more than 4 inches deep. Any material that can't be chipped must be hauled off site and disposed
of properly. If in the Engineers opinion,there is not enough area to spread the chips on site, all remaining
chips must be hauled off site. There will be no additional compensation for hauling these chips off site.
The Contractor is not allowed to bury any chips,brush, logs, stumps, etc. on site.
Any and all disposal fees will be included in the Contractors bid.
Any revisions to any of the Contract Documents made by this Addendum shall be considered as the same
revision to any and all related areas of the Contract Documents not specifically called out in this
Addendum.
The bidder shall acknowledge receipt of this Addendum by inserting the number and date in the spaces
provided in the Form of Bid or Proposal,Item 9,Page 2 of 3.
