Please find the attached bid proposal specification and design sheets for details concerning the aforementioned products. If your business is interested in bidding on this project, please complete the enclosed bid proposal. All sealed bids must be received by noon on Wednesday,June 18th,2014. Bid packets should be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope with the business name and FY 15 Squad Car Installation Bid. Bids will be opened at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 19th, 2014 in the Waterloo City Clerk's Office, 151 floor conference room. The bidder understands the City reserves the right to reject any bid that is considered not to meet specifications. An Equal Opportunity/AHlrmothro Action Employer BID PROPOSAL POLICE PATROL CAR EQUIPMENT FY15 CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA POLICE DEPARTMENT SUBMISSION OF BIDS GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMISSION OF BIDS Standard procedures dictate that the City of Waterloo will accept the lowest responsible bid. However, the bidder understands that the City reserves the right to reject any bid that is either considered not to be responsible or not most advantageous to the City. The City will award the contract to the responsible bidder whose bid meets or exceeds minimum specifications . The City of Waterloo, Iowa reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or any and all parts of a bid. Upon acceptance of the bid, a copy of this proposal bearing the appropriate signature shall constitute acceptance of the bid and, therefore, be a legal and binding agreement . OPENING AND ACCEPTANCE OF BIDS Sealed bid proposals will be opened and read at 1: 00 P.M. on the 19th day of June, 2014, in the Waterloo City Clerk' s office, floor conference room, 715 Mulberry Street, Waterloo, Iowa, and all bidders understand that they may be in attendance at the bid opening. Bids will be acted upon at a later time, which shall then be established. CANCELLATION The successful bidder understands that the City of Waterloo shall cancel this agreement within thirty days notice, if the City has knowledge that all conditions as stated in this bid proposal have not been fulfilled. PAYMENT PROCEDURES The vendor shall bill the City of Waterloo, Iowa, Police Department upon receipt of said goods within thirty (30) days of delivery of goods.
