RESOLUTION NO. 2011-318
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REQUEST OF CONTROL
FOR A SITE PLAN AMENDMENT TO THE "M -2,P"
PLANNED INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT LOCATED ON LOT
18, NORTHEAST INDUSTRIAL PARK PLAT NO. 3 FOR
A 17,500 SQUARE FOOT WAREHOUSE BUILDING
EXPANSION ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE CURRENT
SITE AT 2425 GT DRIVE IN THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, approve a site plan amendment to the "M -2,P"
Planned Industrial District located on Lot 18, Northeast
Industrial District Park Plat No. 3 for a 17,500 square foot
warehouse building expansion across the street from the current
site at 2425 GT Drive, legally described as follows:
Lot 18, Northeast Industrial Park Plat No. 3, all in
the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on April 25, 2011, at
5:30 p.m., at City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as
provided by law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on
the proposal to approve said above mentioned site plan amendment,
and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said site
plan amendment should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that a site plan amendment to the "M -2,P"
Planned Industrial District located on Lot 18, Northeast
Industrial District Park Plat No. 3 for a 17,500 square foot
warehouse building expansion across the street from the current
site at 2425 GT Drive, be and the same is hereby approved.
