RESOLUTION NO. 2024-411
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY PETERSON CONTRACTORS,
INC., OF REINBECK, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$2,428,623.00, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2023 E. SAN
MARNAN DRIVE RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT,
CONTRACT NO. 1084, AND RECEIVE AND FILE A TWO-
YEAR MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, Peterson Contractors, Inc., of Reinbeck, Iowa, performed work in
conjunction with the FY 2023 E. San Marnan Drive Reconstruction Project, Contract No. 1084,
and
WHEREAS, Peterson Contractors, Inc., has completed the aforementioned project in
accordance with the quote documents, and specifications as approved by Council for said project
with Resolution No. 2023-318, after a public hearing on May 15, 2023.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
Work, for work performed by Peterson Contractors, Inc., in conjunction with the FY 2023 E. San
Marnan Drive Reconstruction Project, Contract No. 1084, in the amount of $2,428,623.00, is
hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of July 2024.
