RESOLUTION NO. 2011-330 RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH OFI PROPERTIES, LLC TO SELL AND CONVEY FOR $1.00, PLUS COSTS, APPROXIMATELY 2.48 ACRES OF CITY - OWNED PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED ON GT DRIVE IN THE NORTHEAST INDUSTRIAL PARK, FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW 17,500 SQUARE FOOT INDUSTRIAL BUILDING, WITH A MINIMUM TAXABLE VALUE OF $510,000.00, AS MAY 9, 2011, AT 5:30 P.M. IN CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 9th day of May, 2011, for the purpose of considering and acting upon a proposed Development Agreement with OFI Properties, LLC to sell and convey for $1.00, plus costs, approximately 2.48 acres of city -owned property generally located on GT Drive in the Northeast Industrial Park, for the construction of a new 17,500 square foot industrial building, with a minimum taxable value of $510,000.00, and legally described as follows: Lot 18, Northeast Industrial Park Plat No. 3, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, State of Iowa. Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 25th day of April, 2011. Ernest G.
