RESOLUTION NO. 2011-735
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF KATHY FLAVIN
FOR VARIANCE TO NOISE ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE
NO. 3094.
WHEREAS, Kathy Flavin is requesting a variance to the Noise
Ordinance on August 10, 2011 from 12:45 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. in
conjunction with Voter Education Tour event to be held at Lincoln
Park, including the use of a PA system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Noise
Ordinance, Ordinance No. 3094, and
WHEREAS, said Kathy Flavin made formal application for a
variance effective August 10, 2011 from 12:45 p.m. to 1:15 p.m.
in conjunction with Voter Education Tour event to be held at
Lincoln Park, including the use of a PA system, together with
recommendation of approval of the Director of Safety Services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Kathy Flavin for a variance
to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, on August 10, 2011 from
12:45 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. in conjunction with Voter Education Tour
event to be held in Lincoln Park, including the use of a PA
system, be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this lst day of August, 2011.
