RESOLUTION NO. 2011-736
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF FULL HOUSE
PRODUCTIONS DBA SPICOLI'S GRILL AND THE
REVERB ROCK GARDEN, 3555 UNIVERSITY AVENUE,
FOR VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE NO. 3094, NOISE
ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Full House Productions dba Spicoli's Grill and the
Reverb Rock Garden, 3555 University Avenue, is requesting a
variance to the Noise Ordinance on September 4, 2011 from 5:00
p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in conjunction with the University Cruise Car
event to be held in the parking lot at Spicoli's Grill and the
Reverb Rock Garden, including a DJ and the use of a PA system,
and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No.
3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said Full House Productions dba Spicoli's Grill and
the Reverb Rock Garden, 3555 University Avenue, has made formal
application for a variance to the Noise Ordinance on September 4,
2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., together with recommendation
of approval of the Director of Safety Services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Full House Productions dba
Spicoli's Grill and the Reverb Rock Garden, 3555 University
Avenue, has made formal application for a variance to the Noise
Ordinance on September 4, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in
conjunction with the University Cruise Car event to be held in
the parking lot at Spicoli's Grill and the Reverb Rock Garden,
including a DJ and the use of a PA system, be and the same hereby
granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this lst day of August, 2011.
