RESOLUTION NO. 2011-747
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RECOMMENDATION OF
ACCEPTANCE AS TO WORK AND MATERIALS FURNISHED
BY CARDINAL CONSTRUCTION CO., INC. OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, FOR FIRE STATION NO. 8,
ACCEPTING THE WORK, AND RELEASING THE
$82,624.29 RETAINAGE.
WHEREAS, Cardinal Construction Co., Inc. of Waterloo, Iowa,
has under contract with the City of Waterloo, Iowa, furnished
certain materials and performed labor at a total cost of
$1,652,484.00 for Fire Station No. 8, in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of
Acceptance be and the same hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the retainage of $82,624.29 for the project
be hereby released.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this lst day of August, 2011.
