RESOLUTION NO. 2011-787
RESOLUTION APPROVING RECOMMENDATION OF AWARD
OF CONTRACT TO VIETH CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION
OF CEDAR FALLS, IOWA, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
F.Y. 2012 SECOR RAILROAD SPUR, CONTRACT NO.
794, IN THE AMOUNT OF $232,136.50.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the contract with Vieth Construction Corporation of
Cedar Falls, Iowa, in the amount of $232,136.50, in conjunction
with the F.Y. 2012 SECOR Railroad Spur, Contract No. 794,
described in the plans and specifications heretofore adopted by
this Council for said project with Resolution No. 2011-741 after
public hearing on August 1, 2011 on published notice required by
law, be and is hereby awarded, the same being the apparent lowest
bid for said project.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of August, 2011.
