RESOLUTION NO. 2024-446
RESOLUTION APPROVING SUBMISSION OF AN IOWA
DOT TRAFFIC SAFETY IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM GRANT
APPLICATION, IN THE AMOUNT OF $221,250.00, FOR
SYSTEMIC RED TRAFFIC SIGNAL FACE PROTECTION
AGAINST SNOW, AND COMMITTING TO IMPLEMENT
AND MAINTAIN THE IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE LIFE OF
THE PROJECT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, that submission of the Traffic Safety Improvement Grant application from the Iowa
Department of Transportation, in the amount of $221,250.00, for Systemic Red Traffic Signal
Face Protection Against Snow, and committing to implement and maintain the improvements for
the life of the project, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of August 2024.
