RESOLUTION NO. 2024-461
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REAL ESTATE PURCHASE
AGREEMENT WITH GIFT OF LIFE MINISTRIES FOR THE
CITY'S ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1651
SYCAMORE STREET, IN THE AMOUNT OF $250,000.00
PLUS UP TO $1,000.00 IN CLOSING COSTS, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA
that the Real Estate Purchase Agreement dated August 5, 2024, between Gift of Life Ministries
and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, for the City's acquisition of property located at 1651 Sycamore
Street, and legally described as follows:
THE NORTHWEST 29.75 FEET OF LOT 17 AND LOTS 18, 19, 20 & 21 OF
MORNING SIDE ADDITION IN WATERLOO, IOWA
in the amount of $250,000.00 plus up to $1,000.00 in closing costs, is hereby approved,
and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of August 2024.
