RESOLUTION NO. 2011-800
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF TAMMY SHAVER
FOR A VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE NO. 3094, NOISE
ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Tammy Shaver is requesting a variance to the Noise
Ordinance on September 10, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., in
conjunction with Greenbrier Gang Reunion event to be held at Glen
Tibbets Park located on Cedar Bend Street, including a DJ and the
use of a PA system, with recommendation and approval of the
Director of Safety Services, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Ordinance
No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said Tammy Shaver has made formal application for a
variance effective September 10, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. to 11:00
p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Tammy Shaver for a variance
to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, on September 10, 2011
from 1:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., in conjunction with Greenbrier Gang
Reunion event to be held at Glen Tibbets Park located on Cedar
Bend Street, including a DJ and the use of a PA system, be and
the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of August, 2011.
