RESOLUTION NO. 2024-479
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY VIETH CONSTRUCTION
CORPORATION, OF CEDAR FALLS, IOWA, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $211,889.50, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY
2023 GREENBELT LAKE REAP GRANT PROJECT PHASE II,
CONTRACT NO. 1085, AND RECEIVE AND FILE A TWO-
YEAR MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, Vieth Construction Corporation, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, performed work in
conjunction with the FY 2023 Greenbelt Lake REAP Grant Project Phase II, Contract No. 1085,
and
WHEREAS, Vieth Construction Corporation has completed the aforementioned project
in accordance with the quote documents, and specifications as approved by Council for said
project with Resolution No. 2023-357, after a public hearing on June 5, 2023.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
Work, for work performed by Vieth Construction Corporation, in conjunction with the FY 2023
Greenbelt Lake REAP Grant Project Phase II, Contract No. 1085, in the amount of $211,889.50,
is hereby approved.
