RESOLUTION NO. 2024-481
RESOLUTION APPROVING A DEVELOPMENT
AGREEMENT AND REAL ESTATE CONTRACT WITH
MARCELINO BALION PEREZ FOR THE REHABILITATION
OF 1003 VINE STREET, INCLUDING A REFUND OF
$5,000.00 OF THE PURCHASE PRICE AND A $5,000.00
INFILL HOUSING GRANT UPON COMPLETION OF THE
PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA
AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the Development Agreement and Real Estate Contract dated August 19, 2024,
between Marcelino Balion Perez and the City of Waterloo, for the rehabilitation of 1003 Vine
Street, including a refund of $5,000.00 of the purchase price and a $5,000.00 infill housing grant
upon completion of the project, and legally described as follows:
LOT 11 IN BLOCK 15 IN HIGHLAND, WATERLOO, IOWA, SECOND FILING
is hereby approved.
2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents
on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of August 2024.
