RESOLUTION APPROVING BONDS AND CERTIFICATE OF
INSURANCE WITH ADVANCED ENVIRONMENTAL TESTING
AND ABATEMENT, INC. OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $86,710.00, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
ASBESTOS ABATEMENT SERVICES FOR DEMOLITION
ACTIVITIES OF THE HAZARD MITIGATION GRANT
PROGRAM (HMGP) PROPERTY ACQUISITION PROJECT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the Bonds and Certificate of Insurance with Advanced
Environmental Testing and Abatement, Inc. of Waterloo, Iowa, in
the amount of $86,710.00, in conjunction with the Asbestos
Abatement Services for Demolition Activities of the Hazard
Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) Property Acquisition Project,
described in the plans and specifications heretofore adopted by
this Council in Resolution No. 2011-018 for said project, after
public hearing on January 10, 2011 on published notice required
by law, be and is hereby accepted, the same being the lowest bid
received for said work.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of February, 2011.
