Regarding: Generator/ Circuit Upgrade
We propose to install the required electrical per plans for the sum of:
Supply and install equipment per Bid letter $16,500.00
Remove disconnects, gutter, in narrow hall $ 1,500.00
-Not moving UPS and sub panels-
TOTAL $18,000.00
****This price does include:
1. Supplying and installing (1) 400 amp Main Switch Board in the Bike Storage Room.
2. Supplying and installing (1) large gutter and Junction box above existing
distribution panel.
3. Supplying and installing new breakers to feed existing disconnects. (Breakers
will be sized per existing wire size, some are over fused) .
4. Supplying and installing conduits and wire from new 400amp MSB to large junction
box.
5. Properly splicing onto existing cables and routing power to new switch board.
6. Feeding installed UPS panels with properly sized breaker and wire.
7. Conducting all shutdowns between the hours of 5:30 pm and 7:00AM with at least
48 hrs notifications to building officials.
8. Running Generator to test for faults before work is started.
9. Testing circuits to ensure proper functions and protection.
10. Supplying a line diagram detailing the loads controlled by the generator system.

*****This price does not include:
1. Any generator rental (size of that needed unknown)
2. Any start up or testing of computers or auxiliary systems after change over.
3. Any Generator failures or faults.
4. Any computer failures or system repairs that may be needed due to improper shut
down. An employee of the city will need to be on site during switchover to
ensure proper shut down and restart.
*****This quote can be held for 30 business days. After this time the material will need
to be requoted.
There is a 4 week lead time for the new 400amp MSB.
