Nn loans have been made m date under this cooperative agreement which expired September oO.20UO. The City v,Waterloo has indicated that their inability m make a loan within the original terms of the RLF grant was the result nf not having sufficient information prior to October zO00m estimate the actual costs ofcleaning up the Construction Machinery Cerporation(CMC)site. In October 2006, the City was awarded a$200,000 Brownfields Cleanup grant for the CMC site. The total estimated costs for cleanup of the CMC site well exceed the cleanup grant funding. The City will use the BCRLF to issue a no-interest loan to itself to provide gap funding to complete the CMC cleanup. This Amendment provides for decrease of funds in the amount of$sso.00 and extends the budget and project period.
