by the City Clerk of the City of Wa-
terloo, Iowa, at her office in the City
Hall of the said City on the 22nd day
o1 August 2024, until 1:00 p.m. for the
construction of the FY 2025 STATE
STREET SANITARY SEWER RE-
PLACEMENT AND STORM SEWER
DISCONNECTS, Contract No. 1110,
as described In detail In the plans and
specifications now on flit in the Office
of the City Clerk.
OPENING OF BIDS
All proposals received OS be opened
n the Ha,old E. Getty Council Cham-
bers at City Hall, in the City of Water-
loo, Iowa, on the 22nd day of August
2024, at 1100 p.m., and the proposals
will be acted upon at such later time
and place as may then be fixed by the
City Council. The bid opening will be
Ivestreamed on YouTube and made
available on the city website.
PUBLIC HEARING
Notice Is hereby given that the Coun-
cil of sad City will conduct a pub-
lic hearing on the proposed plans,
specifications, form of contract, and
estimate of cost for the construction
of the above -described Improvement
protect at 5:30 p.m. on the 3rd day
of September 2024, said hearing to
be held in the Harold F. Getty Council
Chambers in City Hall in said City.The
proposed plans, specifications. form of
contract. and estimate of cost for said
improvements heretofore prepared by
the City of Waterloo are now on file in
the office of the City Clerk for public
examination, and any person interest-
ed therein may file written objection
thereto with the City Clerk before the
date set for said hearing, or appear
and make objection thereto with the

SCOPE OF WORK
Project involves two divisions, Divi-
sion I — Slate Street Sanitary Sewer
Replacement and Division If — Buller
Avenue and Dearborn Avenue Storm
Sewer Disconnects.
Division I proposed work involves the
replacement of sanitary sewer main,
reconnection of sanitary service lines.
Installation of new storm sewer main
and Inlets, and other related construc-
tion items in the 100, 200. and 300
blocks of State Street.
Division II proposed work involves the
disconnection of existing storm sewer
inlets from sanitary sewer main and
the installation of new storm sewer
inlets, manholes, and mains, and con-
nection to existing storm sewerfaclli-
ties, and related construction Items,
In the 300 block of Butler Avenue and
the 100 and 200 blocks of Dearborn
Avenue.

of Chapter26 of the City Code of Iowa
and upon order to the City Council of
said Waterloo, tows, on the 5th day of
