RESOLUTION NO. 2024-502
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS SEPTEMBER 26, 2024, AND
DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS OCTOBER 7, 2024, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH ASBESTOS ABATEMENT SERVICES
PROJECT, CONTRACT NO. AB-2024-09-07P, AND
INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with the Asbestos Abatement Services Project, Contract No. AB-2024-09-07P, are
hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the Asbestos Abatement Services
Project, Contract No. AB-2024-09-07P, be scheduled for September 26, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., City
Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 7th day of October 2024, to
hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the Asbestos Abatement Services Project, Contract
No. AB-2024-09-07P.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
