AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 16, GARBAGE AND REFUSE, OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, BY REPEALING SUBSECTION
(a) UNDER SECTION 16-8, FEE FOR SERVICE, PENALTY FOR LATE PAYMENT;
REIMBURSEMENT, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SUBSECTION (a)
UNDER SECTION 16-8, FEE FOR SERVICE, PENALTY FOR LATE PAYMENT;
REIMBURSEMENT.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa:
That Subsection (a) under Section 16-8, Fee for Service, Penalty for Late
Payment; Reimbursement, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, is hereby repealed in its entirety; and that new Subsection (a) under
Section 16-8, Fee for Service, Penalty for Late Payment; Reimbursement, is
hereby enacted in lieu thereof as follows:
(a) That expense of the garbage and refuse service shall become a charge
against the owner or occupant of every dwelling unit in the sum of
three dollars ($3.00) per month.
