ORDINANCE NO. D c 7
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2644, KNOWN AS THE TRAFFIC
ORDINANCE, BY REPEALING SUBSECTIONS (37) , (37a) AND (38) OF
SECTION 541, INCREASING SPEED LIMITS IN CERTAIN AREAS, AND ENACTING
IN LIEU THEREOF NEW SUBSECTION (37) FOURTH STREET (WEST) TO SECTION
541; BY ADDING NEW SUBSECTIONS (43a) HOFF ROAD AND (43b) HOFF ROAD
TO SECTION 541; BY ADDING NEW SUBSECTION (97a) UPLAND AVENUE TO
SECTION 543, THRU STREETS; AND BY ADDING NEW SUBSECTION (32b)
BROCKWAY ROAD TO SECTION 551, PARKING PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES ON
CERTAIN STREETS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, that:
Section 1.
Subsections (37) , (37a) and (38) of Section 541, Increasing Speed Limits in
Certain Areas, of the Traffic Ordinance, are hereby repealed in their entirety;
new Subsection (37) Fourth Street (West) is hereby enacted in lieu thereof as
follows:
(37) Fourth Street (West) - from West Ridgeway Avenue to
southerly corporate limits 35 mph
Section 2.
Subsections (43a) Hoff Road and (43b) Hoff Road are hereby added to Section
541, Increasing Speed Limits in Certain Areas, of the Traffic Ordinance, as
follows:
(43a) Hoff Road - from West Fourth Street to West Shaulis
Road 35 mph
(43b) Hoff Road - from West Shaulis Road to southerly
corporate limits 45 mph
Section 3.
Subsection (97a) Upland Avenue is hereby added to Section 543, Thru Streets,
as follows:
(97a) Upland Avenue Ansborough Avenue to Muncy Avenue
Section 4.
Subsection (32b) Brockway Road is hereby added to Section 551, Parking
Prohibited At All Times on Certain Streets, as follows:
(32b) Brockway Road West side from Glencoe Avenue to
West Park Lane
