RECEIVING OF BIDS
Sealed proposals will be received by
the City Clerk of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, at her office in the City Hall of
the said City on the 5th day of Sep-
tember 2024 until 1:00 p.m. for the
construction of the FY 2025 SIDE-
WALK REPAIR ASSESSMENT PRO-
GRAM — ZONE 4, Contract No. 1111,
as described in detail in the plans and
specifications now on file In the Office
of the City Clerk,
OPENING OF BIDS
All proposals received will be opened
in the Harold Getty Council Chambers
second floor of City Hall, in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, on the 5th day of Sep-
tember 2024 at 1:00 p.m., and the pro-
posals will be acted upon at such later
time and place as may then be fixed by
the City Council. The bid opening will
be I ivest reamed on Yo uTube and made
available on the city we baits.
PUBLIC HEARING
Notice Is hereby given that the Council
of said City will conduct a public hear-
ing on the proposed plans, specifica-
tions, form of contract, and estimate
of oust for the construction of the
above -described improvement project
at 5:30 p.m. on the 16th day of Sep-
tember 2024 said hearing to be held In
the Harold E. Getty Council Chambers
in City Hall in said City. The proposed
plans, specifications, form of contract,
and estimate of cost for said Improve-
ments heretofore prepared by the City
of Waterloo are now an file In the off ice
of the City Clerk for public examina-
tion, and any person interested therein
may file written objection thereto with
the City Clerk before the date set for
said hearing, or appear and make
obection thereto with the City Clerk
before the date set for said hearing, or
appear and make obi actlon thereto at
the meeting above set forth.
SCOPE OF WORK
The extent of the work Involved Is re-
moving and replacing PCC sidewalk
of various widths and thicknesses and
water vales repair within Zone 4 of the
City of Waterloo's Sidewalk Repair
Program. This project is generally lo-
cated In an area bound by
West Mullen Avenue- Cedar River -
West 16th Street - Williston Avenue —
West 6th Street -Washington Street -
West Mullah Avenue

of Chapter26 of the City Code of Iowa
and upon order to the City Councli of
said Waterloo. Iowa, on the 19th day of
September 2024.
