AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF ALLEY
IN BLOCK 12, CONGER PARK.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
That portion of the alley in Block 12, Conger
Park in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, described
as follows : Commencing at a point in the South
line of Lot 16 in John G. Miller Subdivision of
Lots 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12, in Block 12 in Conger
Park, an Addition to Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa, that is 3 . 17 feet West of the Easterly
corner of said Lot 16; thence East along the
South line of said John G. Miller Subdivision
of Lots 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12, in Block 12 in
Conger Park, an Addition to Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa, to the Southeast corner of
Lot 7A in said Subdivision; thence South 1 foot;
thence West along a line 1 foot from and parallel
with the South line of said Subdivision to a
point 1 foot South of the point of beginning;
thence North to the point of beginning
Conveyance of other real estate to the City of Waterloo by A.R.
Hurlbut by the deed dated August 20, 1952, and recorded in Book 315,
Page 97 , furnished the consideration for this transfer,
shall be, and the same is hereby vacated.
Passed and adopted by the City Council on 10th day of September,
1979, approved by the Mayor on the 10th day of September, 1979 .
