AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN EASEMENT IN NE
FRACTIONAL OF SECTION 2-88N-13W NEAR
CORNER OF HIGHWAY 412 AND LA PORTE ROAD
AREA,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS :
That a drainage easement, legally described as follows :
A parcel of land located in the Northeast Fractional
of Section 2, Township 88 North, Range 13 West of
the 5th Principal Meridian, Black Hawk County, Iowa
described as follows :
Commencing at the NW Corner of said NE Fractional 4
Section 2 ; thence North 90° East a distance of 1023. 7
feet; thence South 0° 05' West a distance of 458 .6
feet ; thence South 23° 24' 30" East a distance of
285. 8 feet; thence South 41° 24' East a distance of
124. 34 feet to the point of beginning; thence South
63° 48' West a distance of 276. 52 feet; thence along
a 996.00 foot circular curve, said curve being the
former right-of-way line of Highway #412 , concave
Northwesterly a distance of 6. 93 feet which has a chord
bearing of N 17° 351/2' East and a chord distance of
6. 93 feet; thence North 63° 48' East a distance of
270. 37 feet; thence South 41° 24' East a distance of
5 . 18 feet to the point of beginning.
