AN ORDINANCE VACATING PORTION OF LITCHFIELD AVENUE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Uaterloo, Iowa, as follows:
A part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter
of Section 14, Township 39 North, Range 13 West of the bth
P.M. in Black Hawk County described as beginning at a point
on the North line of Litchfield Avenue which is 707.5 feet
South and 131 .2 feet West of the Northeast corner of the
Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter at said Section
14 and running thence West 546.5 feet along the North line
of Litchfield Avenue, thence South 29 feet to the South line
of Litchfield Avenue, thence East 546.8 feet along the South
line of Litchfield Avenue, thence North 29 feet to the place
of beginning.
shall be, and the same is hereby vacated, with the City's retention of a utility
easement over, under, and upon the following described area:
A part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of
Section 14, Township 89 North, Range 13 West of the 5th P.M.
in Slack Hawk County described as beginning at a point on the
North line of Litchfield Avenue which is 707.5 feet South and
131 .2 feet West of the Northeast corner of the Southwest Quarter
of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 14 and running thence
West 176 feet along the North line of Litchfield Avenue thonc
South 16 feet, thence East 176 feet, thence North 16 feet to
the place of beginning.
Passed and adopted by the City Council on 7th day of January, 19:)0,
approved by the Mayor on the 7th day of January, 1980.
