ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479,
AS .eMENDED, BY ADDING sUB-sFCTION NO.
172 TO SEcTION 2A-5, REZONING CFRT \IN PRO-
PERTY.
SE IT OINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ',e:IFRLOO, ICHA:
Section 1 . That Section 2A-5, of Ordinance No. 2479, as amended, be fur-
ther amended by adding after Sub-Section No. 171, of said Section, the
following New Sub-Section No. One hundred seventy-two (172) :
"172
. part of the North Half of the Southwest euarter of Section
No. Five (5) , Townshir No. Eighty-eight (33) North, Range No.
Thirteen (13) West of the Fifth krincipal Meridian in Waterloo,
Iowa, described as follows:
Commencing at a point in the centerline of West Fourth Street,
formerly U.S. Highway No. 63, that is Seven Hundred Fifty (750 )
feet Northeasterly of the Southwest Corner of said North Half;
thence Southeasterly at right angles to said centerline a dis-
tance of Two Hundred Sixty-two (262) feet ; thence Northeasterly
parallel with said centerline a distance of One Hundred Thirty-
nine (13S) feet; thence Northerly to a point that is Two Hundred
Thirty-three (233) feet Southeasterly and normally distant from
said centerline and One Hundred Fifty-two (152) feet Northeast-
erly and normally distant from the first described course; thence
Northeasterly parallel with said centerline a distance of Thirty-
two (32) feet; thence Northwesterly at right angles to the last
described course a distance of Twenty-two (22) feet ; thence North-
westerly to a point on the Southeasterly right of way line of said
test Fourth Street that is Thirty-three (33) feet Southeasterly
and normally distant from the centerline of said Road; thence
Northwesterly Thirty-three (33) feet to the centerline of said
Road; thence Southwesterly One Hundred Thirty-nine (139) feet
to the point of beginning, and excepting therefrom all legal
highways.
now zoned on the Zoning Map of ',aterloo, Iowa, as "R-3" Multiple Family
Residence District, be and the same is hereby zoned as "R-4" Multiple
Family Residence District as above described" .
Section 2. That the City Clerk be, and he is hereby directed to file a
certified copy of this Ordinance with the Recorder of Black': hawk County,
Iowa.
Passed and adopted by the City Council on 11th day of February, 1980,
approved by the Mayor on the 11th day of February, 193.
