AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PARCEL OF LAND IN AUDITOR FRANCIS BAKER
ADDITION.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa as follows:
A parcel of land lying adjacent to the northeasterly line of
Lot 15, Auditor Francis' Baker Addition, Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa, lying within the following described boundary:
Commencing at a point on the southeasterly line of said Lot 15,
which point is 72.00 feet northeasterly from the most southerly
corner of said Lot 15: thence North 48° 57' 32" West normal to
the southeasterly line of said Lot 15 a distance of 19 feet;
thence North 41° 02' 28" East parallel with the southeasterly
line of said Lot 15 a distance of 53.81 feet; thence North 49°
08' 00" West along a line which is approximately one foot north
of and parallel with the north line of the existing Mid-West
Pattern Company Building a distance of 97.57 feet to a point on
the northeasterly line of said Lot 15, which point is the point
of beginning of the parcel herein described; thence continuing
North 490 08' 00" West a distance of 16.39 feet; thence South
76° 04' 17" West a distance of 6.34 feet to a point on the
northeasterly line of said Lot 15, which point is 34.91 feet
southeasterly from most northerly corner of the southeasterly
one-half of Lot 14, Auditor Francis' Baker Addition; thence
South 63° 36' 55" East along the northeasterly line of said
Lot 15 a distance of 20.70 feet to the point of beginning.
shall be and the same is hereby vacated.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council this 24th day of March, 1980, approved
by the Mayor on the 24th day of March, 1980.
