RESOLUTION NO. 2024-548
RESOLUTION APPROVING SUBMISSION OF ICAAP
GRANT APPLICATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $700,000.00,
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A ROUNDABOUT AT THE
HAMMOND AVENUE AND RIDGEWAY AVENUE
INTERSECTION, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the Traffic Operations Director has requested permission to submit an
ICAAP grant application in the amount of $700,000.00, for construction of a roundabout at the
Hammond Avenue and Ridgeway Avenue intersection.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the submission of an ICAAP grant application in the amount of
$700,000.00, for construction of a roundabout at the Hammond Avenue and Ridgeway Avenue
intersection, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16t" day of September 2024.
