RESOLUTION NO. 2024-569
RESOLUTION APPROVING A DEVELOPMENT
AGREEMENT WITH IOWA HEARTLAND HABITAT FOR
HUMANITY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW HOME
AT 222 RANDALL STREET, INCLUDING A $5,000.00 INFILL
INCENTIVE AND DEMOLITION OF THE EXISTING
STRUCTURE, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA
AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the Development Agreement dated September 16, 2024, between Iowa Heartland
Habitat for Humanity and the City of Waterloo, for the construction of a new home at 222
Randall Street, including a$5,000.00 infill incentive and demolition of the existing structure, and
legally described as follows:
THE SOUTH 73 FEET IN EVEN WIDTH OF LOT 11, EXCEPT THE
WESTERLY 10 FEET OF THE SOUTHERLY 30 FEET THEREOF, IN
"AUDITOR FRANCIS' LELAND PARK PLAT" IN THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA
is hereby approved.
2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents
on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of September 2024.
