Dear Paul:
In response to your request for addiional work beyond the scope originally requested for the
Waterloo Boathouse project, we are submitting the following for our revised architectural fees:
The revised cost estimate for the expanded project is $800,000.00 due to FEMA requirements.
The original 6 1/2%of construction cost fee, not-to-exceed S22,000,00 was based on a
S450,000.00 budget, approved by Council on February 20, 2009. We propose to raise the not-to-
exceed fee to $39,000.00 plus reimbursement expenses.
If these terms are agreeable to you, please sign below. Please keep one copy of this letter for
your records as we will use this letter as an attachment to the original Agreement dated
February 20, 2009. This will override Article II, Section 11.1 "Compensation" of the above-
referenced Agreement.
