NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON
SITE PLAN AMENDMENT
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Notice is hereby given that on the 3Dth
day of September2024, at 5:30 p.m. in
the Council Chambers in the City Hall
in the City of Waterloo. Iowa, a public
hearing will be held by the Council of
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, to approve
a request by 1515 Sycamore, LLC, for
a Site Plan Amendment to allow for
redevelopment of the Rath Administra-
tion Building into 87 residential units;
including the potential to add parking
within vacated Elm Street and allowing
for a total of 122-180 parking spaces,
potentially less than the 174 parking
spaces required in the "C-P" Planned
Commercial District, located at 1515
Sycamore Street , legally described
as follows:
1515 Sycamore Street Legal Descip-
tion:
Lots 1 through 12, Black 4, Riverside
Addition, City of Waterloo. Black Hawk
County, Iowa; and all of the alley in
Block 4, Riverside Addition. City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County. Iowa.
Vacate Area Legal Description;
That part of Elm Street lying south-
westerly of the southwesterly right-
of-way line of Lafayette Street and
lying northeasterly of the northeasterly
right-of-way line of Sycamore Street,
subject to the retention of a public util-
ity easement over, under, across and
upon the above described area.
Anyone who is interested may appear
at said time and place and be heard or
may file written objection with the City
Clerk. City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, before
the date set for said hearing.
