NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Notice is hereby given that on the 30th
day of September2024, at 5:30 p.m. in
the Council Chambers in the City Hall
in the City of Waterloo: Iowa, a public
hearing will be held by the Council of
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, for a re-
quest by the City of Waterloo to vacate
Elm Street from Sycamore Street to
Lafayette Street, located adjacent to
1515 Sycamore Street with the reten-
tion of a utility easement over, under,
and upon the vacate area, legally de-
scribed as follows;
That part of Elm Street lying south-
westerly of the southwesterly right-
of-way line of Lafayette Street and
lying northeasterly of the northeasterly
right-of-way line of Sycamore Street,
subject to the retention of a public util-
ity easement over, under, across and
upon the ABOVE DESCRIBED area.
Anyone who is interested may appear
at said time and place and be heard or
may file written objection with the City
Clerk, City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, before
the date set for said hearing.
