OF WATERLOO TO VACATE ELM STREET FROM
SYCAMORE STREET TO LAFAYETTE STREET, LOCATED
ADJACENT TO 1515 SYCAMORE STREET WITH THE
RETENTION OF A UTILITY EASEMENT OVER, UNDER,
AND UPON THE VACATED AREA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA
AS FOLLOWS:
that Elm Street from Sycamore Street to Lafayette Street, located adjacent to 1515
Sycamore Street, and legally described as follows:
THAT PART OF ELM STREET LYING SOUTHWESTERLY OF THE
SOUTHWESTERLY RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF LAFAYETTE STREET AND
LYING NORTHEASTERLY OF THE NORTHEASTERLY RIGHT-OF-WAY
LINE OF SYCAMORE STREET
shall be, and the same is hereby vacated, subject to the retention of a public utility easement over,
under, across, and upon, said entire parcel.
