does hereby Quit Claim to

all our right, title, interest, estate, claim and demand in the following-described real estate in
Black Hawk County, Iowa:
The South Eight (8) feet of the Sixteen (16) foot public alley as platted in Block Six (6), Russell
Heights Addition in the City of Waterloo, Iowa lying Easterly of the Northerly extension of the
West line of Lot Three (3) in said Block Six (6) and lying Westerly of the Northerly extension
of the East line of Lot Three (3) in said Block Six (6).
City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall retain a utility easement over, under and upon the North four (4)
feet of the above parcel.
This transaction exempt from Documentary Stamp and Declaration of Value per Iowa Code§428A.2(6)(2009).
Each of the undersigned hereby relinquishes all rights of dower,homestead and distributive share in and to the real estate.
Words and phrases herein, including acknowledgment hereof,shall be construed as in the singular or plural number,and as masculine or
feminine gender,according to the context.

Iowa, personally appeared Timothy J. Hurley and Carol Failor, to me personally known, and who, being by me
duly sworn, did say that they are the Mayor and Deputy City Clerk, respectively, of the City of Waterloo, Iowa;
that the seal affixed to the foregoing instrument is the corporate seal of the corporation, and that the instrument
was signed and sealed on behalf of the corporation by authority of its City Council as contained in the Resolution
adopted by the City Council, under Council Action No. 129998 of the City Council on the 12th day of October,
2009, and that Timothy J. Hurley and Carol Failor acknowledged the execution of the instrument to be their
voluntary act and deed and the voluntary act and deed of the corporation, by it voluntarily executed.
