WBE/WBE Contract Compliance
F ttr Program, City of Waterloo, 1986 is to act as an impetus for increasing

awarded contracts;

s w WHEREAS, the MBE/WBE Contract Compliance Program, City of
n (;Waterloo, Iowa 1986, does not propose to eliminate any bonafide

® �_, t contractor, subcontractor, supplier, and vendor but will hopefully serve
x m ;=,as a needed stimulus to help local minority and women business enter-
c% prise become "mainstream" contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and

F� = : WHEREAS, the MBE/WBE Contract Compliance Program, City of
c Waterloo, Iowa, 1986, will serve as a tool to help reduce the problem of
C k high unemployment in the Waterloo minority community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA that the Minority Business Enterprise and Woman Business
Enterprise Contract Compliance Program for the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
1986, is hereby approved, and the Mayor Pro Tem authorized to sign and
execute the same on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
Passed and adopted this 3rd day of February, 1986.
