RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE AND CONVEYANCE OF CERTAIN
EXCESS PROPERTY TO VIRGIL LOU FILERS, JUNIOR BROOKS, DALE
PALMER, IVAN PALMER, CAROL WAITERS, DONNA ZILK, VIRGIL C. &
BETTY L. GRAYBILL AND PATRICIA L. SAFFOLD PLUS COSTS AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CLERK/AUDITOR TO EXECUTE AND
DELIVER A DEED FOR SAME.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is the owner of real property in the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, as described below, and
WHEREAS, an offer to purchase said certain parcel of real property in the
sum of $440.00 total plus costs has been made by Virgil Lou Eilers, Junior
Brooks, Dale Palmer, Ivan Palmer, Carol Watters, Donna Zilk, Virgil C. &
Betty L. Graybill, and Patricia L. Saffold, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held February 10, 1986 at 7:00 p.m. in the
Council Chambers in City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, as

premises owned by the City of Waterloo, Iowa otos Virgil Lou Eilders, Junior
Brooks, Dale Palmer, Ivan Palmer, Carol Watters, Donna Zilk, Virgil C. &
Betty L. Graybill and Patricia L. Saffold, Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that sale and conveyance should
be made as proposed.
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA AS FOLLOWS:
1 . The following described real property, as fully described in the
published notice in the Waterloo Courier on February 24, 1986, is not
presently needed and will not be needed in the foreseeable future for
municipal purposes and its ownership is serving no municipal purpose, and
2. That the offer of $440.00 total and costs be, and it is hereby
accepted for real property described below:
Virgil Lou Eilers - Individual Ownership
The easterly one half of alley lying westerly of Lot 8 and Lot 14,
Block 1, Ricker and Bratnober Addition, in the City of Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Junior Brooks - Individual Ownership
The westerly one half of alley adjacent to and easterly of Lot 9,
Block 1, Ricker and Bratnober Addition, in the City of Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Dale Palmer, Ivan Palmer, Carol Watters - Tenants in Common
The westerly one half of alley adjacent to and easterly of Lot 10,
Block 1, Ricker and Bratnober Addition, in the City of Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Donna Zilk (Kathleen H. Keefer - Deed Holder)
The westerly one half of alley adjacent to and easterly of Lot 11,
Block 1, Ricker and Bratnober Addition, in the City of Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Virgil C. & Betty L. Graybill - Joint Tenancy with Full Rights of
Survivorship
The westerly one half of alley adjacent to and easterly of Lot 12,
Block 1, Ricker and Bratnober Addition, in the City of Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Patricia L. Saffold - Joint Tenancy with Full Rights of Survivorship
The westerly one half of alley adjacent to and easterly of Lot 13,
Block 1, Ricker and Bratnober Addition, in the City of Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa.
