Cr rr c WHEREAS , a public hearing was held on March 11 , 1986 at
which an opportunity was accorded to all persons and organizations
E N ' attending to present their views regarding the preparation and
- '- - submission of a Statement of Community Development Objectives and
s S � � Projected Use of Funds for Federal Assistance as part of the
mir Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended ; and

Q; ,- ;- WHEREAS , the City Council finds that the proposed Statement
co for Federal Assistance for Community Development Block Grant funds
rr; �- G for the City of Waterloo , Iowa, conforms to the general plan of
4 a -� c the municipality as a whole and that there is presently in
exC,istence a feasible method for the relocation of families that
t- r may be displaced into decent, safe, and sanitary dwelling
c sr accommodations within their means and without undue hardship to
s ~ them.

c NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Statement for Federal Assistance
under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of
1974, as amended, is hereby approved and that the Mayor is hereby
authorized to execute the appropriate forms and forward the
Statement to the Department of Housing & Urban Development for
their review and approval .
Passed and adopted this 17th day of March , 1986 .
