rX `i- WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 1986-175,

-- for the FY 1986 Street Reconstruction Program, known as Contract

s No. 299, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, have been approved and adopted
c by this Council after the hearing prescribed by statute, now, therefore

a, C; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that
z it is deemed advisable and necessary and it is so ordered on motion by
v this Council that the said improvements be constructed in accordance
r - with said plans and specifications.
That the work herein ordered is to be paid in monthly estimates,
=s in cash, on the basis of 90% of the work as the same is completed and
c materials delivered and the work approved, except that before the last
c month 's payment is made the contractor may be required to furnish the
= c City Council vouchers showing that all subcontractors and workmen and
m
,rC, persons furnishing materials have been fully paid for such materials and
=- labor, and that the City may retain the last month 's payment for a
period of 31 days followingsuch completion and approval, unless satis-
c; fied that materialsmen and laborers have been paid.
That said works shall be done by contract and shall be commenced
promptly after receipt of "Notice to Proceed" and shall be completed
within thirty (30) calendar days thereafter.
