RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CONDEMNATION OF A CERTAIN
PARCEL OF REAL PROPERTY FOR THE KIMBALL AVENUE PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has undertaken the
m Kimball Avenue Project and the parcel of land hereinafter described has
n, been appraised and an offer made to the owner of said property in the
amount of the appraised value and said offer has been refused and funds
r are available with which to pay for the said parcel from City funds;

s } WHEREAS, the acquisition of the hereinafter described real
• �, property is necessary in connection with the said Kimball Avenue

r`n `r' NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the following described parcel of real
property be acquired by condemnation in the manner provided by law and
such other further action as may be necessary to effect acquisition:

described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the North R-O-W line of Ridgeway Avenue
and the East R-O-W line of Kimball Avenue; thence N. 010 45 ' 33" W. along
said East R-O-W line a distance of 15. 00 feet; thence S. 46c' 06 ' 37" E. a
distance of 21 . 45 feet to said North R-O-W line; thence S. 89� 32 ' 19" W.
along said North R-O-W line a distance of 15. 00 feet to the point of
beginning.
