RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING A
TEMPORARY EASEMENT ON REAL PROPERTY
WHEREAS, The City of Waterloo, Iowa, has had the parcel
described herein appraised and the fair market value ascertained,
AND WHEREAS, the acquisition of a Temporary Easement
hereinafter described is necessary to carry out the West Fourth Street
Reconstruction Project in connection with the Interstate Substitution
Plan.

c NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
J? of Waterloo, Iowa, that the contract for the parcel hereinafter
described, all of which is situated in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
n-, c > County, Iowa, is accepted and approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are
CD authorized and directed to execute the same in behalf of the City and to

f=- n execute all instruments necessary to consummate the agreement for the
s r;_ Temporary Easement from the owner thereof, and the City of Waterloo is
5 F F_ directed to pay for the property and the incidental expenses necessary

feet Northeasterly of the Southwest corner of

SW 1/4) of said Section (as measured along the
centerline of said West Fourth Street) ; thence
S89°50'30"W Fifty and Thirteen Hundredths
(50.13) feet to the Northeast corner of that
parcel as recorded in Land Deed Book 537 Page
121 in the Black Hawk County Recorder's
Office, said Northeast corner also being the
point of beginning; thence continuing
S89°50'30"W a distance of Forty-one and Two
Hundredths (41.02) feet to a point which is
Sixty (60) feet normally distant from the
centerline of West Fourth Street; thence
Northeasterly parallel with and Sixty (60)
feet normally distant from the centerline of
West Fourth Street, to a point which is Sixty
(60) feet normally distant from the North line
of said Section Five (5), said point being on
the South line of Ridgeway Avenue; thence East
along the South line of Ridgeway Avenue a
distance of Forty-one and Two Hundredths
(41.02) feet to a point which is Thirty-three
(33) feet normally distant from the centerline
of West Fourth Street; thence Southwesterly
parallel and Thirty-three (33) feet normally
distant from the centerline of West Fourth
Street to the point of beginning. Easement
area 49,680 S.F. more or less.

RESOLPTIDP ACCEPTING AND APPROVING CERTAIN
AcnuIsITIoN CONTRACTS TO SELL REAL PROPERTY
TO THE CITY AND ACCEPTING AND APPROVING
CERTAIN DEEDS
WHEREAS, The City of Waterloo. Iowa, has had all the narcel
described herein annraised and the fair market value ascertained.
APO WHEREAS, the acquisition of the hereinafter described
parcel is necessary to carry out the Ansborough Reconstruction Project
in connection with the Interstate Substitution Plan.
NOW. THEREFORE, R,E IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, that the contract for the parcel hereinafter
described to sell the same to the City of waterloo, Iowa, all of which
is situated in the City of Waterloo, Plack Hawk County, Iowa, is
accented and approved and the mayor and City Clerk are authorized and
directed to execute the same in behalf of the City and to execute all
instruments necessary to consummate the agreement to purchase the
property from the owner thereof, and the deed for the conveyance of the
same are also accepted and approv2d and the City of Waterloo is directed
to nay for the Property and the incidental expenses necessary to the
consummation of the sale from city Funds.
