Ti RESOLUTION APPROVING PAYMENT OF $18,218.54 ACCUMULATED SICK
�. ! u LEAVE AND VACATION PAY TO RICHARD KERNS, RETIREE OF THE
Q g FIRE DEPARTMENT IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA.

WHEREAS, on the 25th day of April , 1986, Richard Kerns will retire as an
` employee of the Fire Department of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and

WHEREAS, Richard Kerns has accumulated 1,215 hours of sick leave and is
entitled to payment for same, and
r WHEREAS, Richard Kerns has earned and is entitled 384 hours vacation
pay, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that

G Richard Kerns be paid a sum of $18,218.54 being payment in full for
,'above mentioned sick leave and earned vacation, and that the Clerk/
`'Auditor be, and he is hereby, authorized, empowered and ordered to draw
7:2a warrant accordingly for said sum and deliver the same to Richard
Kerns.
Passed and adopted by the City Council on the 21st day of April , 1986,
approved by the Mayor on the 23rd day of April , 1986.
